Living Apart

The court may grant a divorce in favor of either spouse if the spouses have lived apart without cohabitation for at least three years.

It’s shocking to see how many people live apart but still remain married.  There are many days where almost every single person I speak with can use living apart as their grounds for divorce.  Preparing for a divorce suit is serious business & an experienced legal professional like myself can help you through your dissolution of marriage.

Another common scenario where living apart becomes grounds is when you are married to an immigrant that left the country and never returned.  Many spouses of immigrant are not sure where to turn to, but we’ve helped literally hundreds of individuals end their marriage to illegal resident.

Another common living apart scenario is when one spouse moves back to live with their parents.  When this happens and you’ve given your spouse adequate amount of time to return then call my office & speak with me, an experienced Divorce Lawyer, because I can help you quickly get out of the marriage.

Now if your spouse during a separation decides to move in with another person of the opposite sex you can then take that as a sign that you two are now living apart.  Before it becomes fault based grounds or adultery call my office immediately.

I offer free consultations Monday through Sunday, from 7am to 10pm and also provide 24/7 website customer service.  So even if it’s 2am and you need to schedule a consultation I am here to help.

My website customer service will not answer legal questions such as what is the residency requirements or what is the divorce waiting period but they will schedule your consultation & have me call you right away.
